[ロンドン ２６日 ロイター] - 国際ガス連盟（ＩＧＵ）は２６日発表した２０２４年版の世界ＬＮＧリポートで、世界の液化天然ガス（ＬＮＧ）市場について、過去２年間の不安定さを経て、現在は脆弱（ぜいじゃく）な均衡状態にあるとの認識を示した。余剰供給能力が短期的には乏しいことが影響している。

２３年の世界のＬＮＧ取引量は、前年比２．１％（８４０万トン）増の４億０１４２万トンと、過去最高水準に達した。価格の緩やかな下落で、スポット取引による買いが増えたことに支えられた。

ただ、取引の増加ペースは２２年の５．６％を下回った。リポートは、供給が限られていることが、引き続き増加ペースを抑えたと指摘した。 ＩＧＵの李雅蘭会長は「ＬＮＧ市場は、価格が下落しているものの、依然として需給が引き締まった状態にある。世界市場が新たに見いだした均衡状態はなお脆弱（ぜいじゃく）で、需給の両サイドの不確実性に敏感だ」と述べた。
